Real-time Hair Rendering With Hair Meshes
DescriptionWe present how the hair mesh structure can be used for efficiently rendering strand-based hair models on the GPU. We demonstrate an unprecedented level of performance for real-time hair rendering, allowing scenes involving hundreds of characters with full-resolution unique hair models at real-time frame rates and on-the-fly hairstyle adjustment.
