A Free-space Diffraction BSDF
SessionAppearance Models
DescriptionFree-space diffractions are an optical phenomenon where light diffracts (“bends”) around the geometric edges and corners of scene objects. In this paper, we present an efficient method to simulate such effects and show that we can run wave simulations on scenes orders-of-magnitude more complex than what's possible with the state of the art.
