VR-GS: A Physical Dynamics-aware Interactive Gaussian Splatting System in Virtual Reality
DescriptionWe introduce VR-GS, a physics-aware, interactive VR system for immersive manipulation of 3D content represented with Gaussian Splatting. We utilize XPBD simulation to ensure real-time interactivity, where Gaussian kernels are deformed by cage meshes using two-level embeddings. Our system integrates segmentation, inpainting, and shadow maps to ensure an immersive experience.
