Biography
Matt Pinner is a dynamic artist and creative technologist, originally from Colorado and currently based in Brooklyn, NY. With a background in software engineering and a deep-rooted passion for sculpture and physics, Matt's work is characterized by a commitment to creating physical interactions that not only engage but also connect people in timeless, limitless experiential spaces. An artist's sensibility, enables him to create immersive, interactive lighting sculptures and volumetric installations that explore the boundaries of kinetic artwork.

His educational foundation is built on a degree in Math and Astrophysics from the Colorado School of Mines. Throughout his career, Matt has been involved in a variety of high-profile projects, demonstrating his versatility and leadership in the field. Notable collaborations include programming for The Illuminated River Project, Intel's Robot Dance Party, and various fashion technology shows where he has served as Head of Architecture and Technical Director.

Matt is also deeply involved in the Creative Technology community, leading projects worldwide and contributing to platforms like Crashspacela, SPARK FUN, and engaging in collaborative efforts that bring to life events such as live projection mapping and machine learning applications. His work has toured with notable names including DJ Qbert, Lady Gaga, and at major events like the Grammys and CES.

As an artist, Matt continues to push the envelope with projects that integrate art, technology, and community. His recent works include interactive sculptures that allow for communal experiences and discussions about the future of technology and its role in society.
