Biography
Chris is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at UMD. Previously, he was an Intelligence Community Postdoctoral Fellow in the Stanford Computational Imaging Lab. He received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical and computer engineering from Rice University in 2013, 2014, and 2019, respectively. His research develops new systems and algorithms for solving problems in computational imaging, machine learning, and wireless communications. He recently received NSF CAREER and AFOSR Young Investigator Program awards and he was an NSF Graduate Research Fellow, a DoD NDSEG Fellow, and a NASA Texas Space Grant Consortium Fellow.
