Biography
Saku Kijima earned her Ph.D. degree in Science from the University of Tsukuba in 2018. After obtaining her Ph.D., she engaged in research as a postdoctoral researcher for two years at AIST, followed by two years at National Institute of Genetics, and one year at Nagoya University. Since last year, she started working as a researcher in the Plant Gene Regulation Research Group at AIST. She has been studying the cytoskeleton using imaging analysis to investigate its function in plant cell wall formation and development. Additionally, apart from this, she has been participating in a project related to development of SkillPicker as an adviser of a plant researcher.
