Presenter

Mike Bailey is a professor in Computer Science at Oregon State University. His loves all-things-computer-graphics, but especially high-performance graphics, scientific visualization, and GPU computing. He also really likes sharing the joy of CG with others. He has extensive experience teaching computer graphics topics in his college classes (nearly 13,000 students so far), in professional short courses (103, 56 of them at SIGGRAPH conferences), and in K-12 outreach programs. Mike has won multiple awards, including the 2015 SIGGRAPH Outstanding Service Award and the 2024 SIGGRAPH Distinguished Educator Award.
