Biography
Research area: physical simulation, particularly of thin, elastic materials like cloth, hair, and paper; I also have expertise on collision detection and contact modeling and response. More fundamentally I do research in geometry processing, discrete differential geometry, and applications to design of masonry structures, ribbon patterns and weavings, and surface and volume frame fields.
