Biography
Josef Spjut is a Research Scientist at NVIDIA working on games-related research topics, such as human-computer performance, esports, latency, and refresh rate. His research contributed to the Ray Tracing Core hardware in NVIDIA GPUs and the NVIDIA Reflex esports platform. He is also an Adjunct Associate Professor for the Game Design, Development, and Innovation Master of Engineering at Duke University. Previously he was a Visiting Assistant Professor in the department of Engineering at Harvey Mudd College. He received a Ph.D. from the University of Utah and a B.S. from University of California, Riverside, both in Computer Engineering.
