Takehiko Kanazawa received his Ph.D. in 2017 from the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Tokyo. He works at the National Institute for Basic Biology as an assistant professor. He is primarily interested in the organelle evolution and the diversification of membrane trafficking pathways. He also teaches beginning students experimental techniques of Marchantia polymorpha study via YouTube, which became one of opportunity to start SkillPicker project.
