Chek Tien Tan is an Associate Professor with the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) and serves as the Director for the Centre for Immersification. In teaching, Chek is a recipient of the university's Teaching Excellence Award and played pivotal roles in designing joint engineering and design programs with the DigiPen Institute of Technology. His research centers around Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), with notable contributions in interacting fields of Gamification, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Computer Graphics, as evident in publications in leading venues like ACM CHI and SIGGRAPH Asia.
