Biography
Anu Bourgeois is a Computer Science Professor at Georgia State University. She received her Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Louisiana State University. Her research is in the general area of distributed computing with focus on health informatics, security & privacy, wireless & sensor networks, and their intersections. Having served as the department’s Undergraduate Director from 2006-2019, she has a strong interest in CS education research and broadening participation in computing. Dr. Bourgeois has served as the General and Program co-chairs and been an active member of organizing and program committees for numerous conferences. She is a Senior Member of IEEE.
