Jason Fahy currently serves as the Associate Director of the Ocean Exploration Cooperative Institute at the University of Rhode Island. As a marine researcher he specializes in the development of deep ocean autonomous technologies and the implementation of innovative operational concepts at sea. Jason started at URI in 2021 following 20 years of service in the United States Navy. As a Commander, Fahy was stationed in Washington D.C. leading technology development and deep ocean operations in support of the oceanographic community.
