Biography
Christiaan Gribble is a PMTS Silicon Design Engineer at Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD), where he is helping to design the next generation of real-time ray tracing (RTRT) hardware architectures. His research explores the synthesis of RTRT, large-scale modeling and simulation, and hardware architecture. Previously, Gribble was the Director of High Performance Computing (HPC) and a Principal Research Scientist within the Applied Technology Operation (ATO) of SURVICE Engineering Company, where he led ATO's HPC-related research and development initiatives. Gribble holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Utah and is the General Chair of HPG 2024.
