Rommél has been working in Visual Effects for over 20 years. He started his career as a VFX artist and as a render wrangler to get his foot in the door, but was a trained character and hard surface rigger. After his employer discovered that, his career took off. After several years freelancing as a rigger, he expanded to become a generalist, before settling into lighting and lookdev. He has been working as a CG Lead and Supervisor for the last 9 or 10 years.

Rommél has worked in episodic television (Pushing Daisies, Pan Am, Bones, Scandal, Star Trek Discovery and Star Trek Picard), feature films (The Golden Compass, Captain America: The First Avenger, The Black Phone, and Ambulance), game cinematics, and special venues.
