Biography
I completed a B.Sc. in computer science from McGill University. After college, I worked 10 years as a professional software engineer with specialties in networking, graphics, and behavioral modeling. I later completed a masters and PhD degree from the University of Pennsylvania. During my PhD, I studied character and crowd animation, body language, and built a number of game-based experimental platforms. After my PhD, I worked several years as an AI and 3D game programmer, implementing projects for Kythera AI (Moon Collider LLC), Cesium, Monument Lab, and Clemson and New York University. I returned to academics full-time in 2018 and started work at Bryn Mawr in 2020.
