Hai Loc Lu leads the synthetic data generation effort for autonomous vehicle simulation at NVIDIA, focusing on providing diverse and scalable training data, such as free space and occupancy voxels, using NeRF and Generative AI. Previously, Loc was a lead engineer and manager on the Isaac Sim team, working on articulated robots and vehicle simulation. Loc also contributed to integrating NVIDIA's PhysX into game engines and porting AAA games to NVIDIA Shield TV.
