Theodora Vardouli

Biography
Theodora Vardouli, Ph.D. is Associate Professor at the Peter Guo hua Fu School of Architecture, McGill University. She researches design and architecture’s entwining with computation through a combination of historical inquiry and critical design and making. Vardouli’s work has appeared in Leonardo, Design Studies, IJAC, Nexus, IEEE Annals of the History of Computing, Architectural Research Quarterly among others. She is co-editor with Olga Touloumi of Computer Architectures: Constructing the Common Ground (Routledge 2020) and co-author with Daniel Cardoso Llach of Designing the Computational Image (AR+D 2023). Her book Graph Vision: Digital Architecture's Skeletons is forthcoming in 2024 with MIT Press.
