Biography
Ryan Hardesty Lewis, a machine learning researcher, holds a BS from UT Austin and is currently in a dual MS program at Cornell Tech. His work lies in leveraging machine learning for the development of digital twins, focusing on urban management and computational ethics. At the Urban Information Lab, under the guidance of Dr. Junfeng Jiao, he applies machine learning to enhance urban technologies and explored the ethical dimensions of AI, respectively. With funding from the City of Austin, NSF, Microsoft, MITRE Corp, Dell Corp, and others, Ryan has developed systems that address challenges in urban development and AI.
