Nicholas New is Head of FX at DNEG Animation based at the London studio. He studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Sheffield and started his career as a motion graphics artist for TWI, he then worked in TV and commercials as a freelancer before starting at The Senate VFX as a generalist. He joined DNEG in 2006 to work as an FX artist on 'Stardust'. Nicholas has worked on numerous blockbuster films including ‘Batman Begins’, ‘Captain America: The First Avenger’, ‘Interstellar’ and most recently on ‘Under the Boardwalk’ and 'That Christmas' with DNEG Animation.
