Avneet Kaur has served as Head of Characters and Technical Animation,Department Craft Leader, Simulation Supervisor, Simulation-Artist and Look-Dev Artist, at Walt Disney Animation Studios since 2004. As Head of Characters on “Wish”, Kaur oversaw the creation of all character assets and as Head of Technical Animation, Kaur oversaw Character Fx on all shots that went through Technical Animation. Kaur received a B.S. in Architecture from BIT-Mesra(India) and a M.S in Visualization Sciences from Texas A&M University. Kaur’s film credits include “Bolt,” “Tangled,” “Wreck-It Ralph,” “Ralph Breaks the Internet,” “Frozen 2,” and the Academy Award®-winners “Frozen”, “Big Hero 6”, “Zootopia”,and “Encanto”.
