Ever since he got his hands on a BetaMax camera at the age of 7, Kurt has had his sights set on the movies. He received a Master's in Visualization Sciences from Texas A&M University and soon after joined Dreamworks Animation as a Technical Director on How to Train Your Dragon. He currently is the Technical Lead of the Character Effects Production Development team. Kurt enjoys spending time with his wife Giovanna and their two children, Renato (5) and Serafina (1). When not making movies, Kurt can usually be found fixing something in their 140 year-old farm house.
