Full Professor with the Institute of Informatics, Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Porto Alegre, Brazil. Her research interests include VR, interactive and immersive visualization, and non-conventional interaction. She received the Ph.D. degree in computer science from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Lausanne, Switzerland.
