Sebastian's fascination with computer graphics was sparked by early 90s TV shows. During his university years, this manifested in working on 3d shorts and focusing on real-time facial animation. During his postgraduate studies, his focus shifted towards effects and fluids-solvers. After a three-year stint at Framestore CFC, Sebastian's fascination with VFX brought him to WētāDigital in 2010. There, he worked as an FX Lead on the Hobbit Movies and delivered key technologies for Weta's Effects Pipeline. In the Engineering Department, recently, his focus has been on integrating Wetas procedural technologies and workflows into USD in the Wētā's next VFX pipeline.
