SUMMARY:Holographic Parallax Improves 3D Perceptual Realism
DESCRIPTION:Dongyeon Kim and Seung-Woo Nam (Seoul National University), Su
yeon Choi (Stanford University), Jong-Mo Seo (Seoul National University),
Gordon Wetzstein (Stanford University), and Yoonchan Jeong (Seoul National
University)\n\nHolographic displays offer promising solutions for future
VR/AR display platforms. In this study, we investigate the perceptual impl
ications of various CGH algorithms. Our results reveal that the inclusion
of parallax cues significantly enhances perceptual realism and will help g
uide the community toward passing the visual Turing test of displays.\n\nI
